Fantastical is the only calendar I’ve found, that’s UI behaves in the way I want a calendar to. Totally worth the price.

I would happily pay $99 for this app because I use it every day. The Apple Calendar app is awful – Fantastical 2 is better in every way – because it works. The text parsing is far beyond anything that Apple or Google has provided – which becomes one of the easiest ways to enter new events and invitations. The new calendar view is great as it allows me to move dates around, quickly block off my schedule and get a high level perspective of my daily, weekly, and monthly schedule. The animations provide context as you add new events and move around the calendar. I’m focused on life hacks and improving my workflow. And it is without a doubt that I recommend Fantastical 2 to anyone looking to gain efficiency and not fight the system with event creation. It’s not perfect, but the Flexibit support has been great! I look forward to improvements and more bug fixes. Flexibit’s has been very responsive and I know they are working hard to make this the best calendar app.
  • The one calendar app that has stuck

I have tried MANY calendar apps. For various reasons I have ended-up dropping them all. Fantastical, though, has stuck. It has a tremendous mixture of features and simplicity, and I love that it allows direct sync with various calendar providers because it means that I am able to access, for example, my work calendar on my personal device and laptop without having to log-in to my work account on the OS level to make it work. This is a hard requirement for me, and many many calendar clients don't do that. This alone makes Fantastical worth the subscription, to me, and its many other QoL features just make it a joy and a pleasure to use. I absolutely recommend it for anyone.
  • 2 more features

Fantasical is a great application that would benefit from adding these 2 features that WeekCal offers: 1. Ability to send the appointment via text message/iMessage. 2. When you enter a person’s name in the name of the event that it will automatically suggest that person to populate the address.

As my work has become more hectic, Fantstical has become an intricate part of my planning. While I wish it was a little cheaper, it really does make a difference for hectic schedules, especially when you want to share info across your Apple devices. Their support is very good. I uncovered a bug with a simple Zoom calendar invite that would keep disppearing, and it was fixed withing a few weeks. I was very impressed. Sometimes you have to pay a little more to support great products and companies, and this is one of them. And by the way, the Opening feature has made my staff's life so much easier! I can share my personal and work calendar, and hide the details, and my team can schedule around my calendar. No more emails!
  • Essential for managing everyone throwing events at me.

This is the tool that allows me to make life work with family, work and hobby calendars all demanding my time and attention. Also, it’s okay to pay for good software. Making software this great takes time and effort from very talented people. Let’s pay them.
  • Great Calendar Integration

Love Fantastical - I have numerous gmail calendars and it seamlessly integrates them all. I also love how easy it is to add new calendar events.
  • Not able to delte events

Unfortunately I accepted an invitaion for a recurring event from an aquaintance and have never been able to disable this event from my calendar. I actually delted my apple calendar so I wouldn't have to see it every week.
  • Good but iOs

Good (Mac) but… 1. Can’t accept appts from the right click drop down when right clicking a meeting on the calendar - have to go to the sidebar to do that… annoying. 2. iOs app is not able to add an Outlook calendar (not Exchange)
